Not sure what the external debt is at present but NH, the Director with the biggest debt, maybe happy to walk away if somebody clears a big slice of his debt now, say he takes £2-3m, that still leaves upards of £10m in equity. Hereford are very similar to use in having what appeared a "caring" Chairman in David Keytes in control with had plans for a fantastic new staduim who now appears to have shafted the whole club, I'm not saying NH would do that but it's clearly happened elsewhere so anything is possible. Out of interest, what do you base the equity of (circa) £12m on? It's a 7 acre site, worth a lot less than £12m for development. Then there are the loans of the other directors, and as you point out, there is still some external debt. Unless they can get Sainsbury's to complete, the finances look a bit of a mess to me If the Mem is worth less then £12m where does the £30m figure come from that Sainsburys are supposed to be paying ?

I'm guessing that at the time they expected continued growth in their market and based the investment on projected return? When I mentioned 'development' above, I was thinking about residential development. But it's all guesswork, how many people actually know what the numbers are on the contract?

Yet another Hereford fan here, but this one lives in Bristol.
United avoid relegation but go down 2 levels, ground capacity cut to 1000, gates down to 200-250, photocopied programmes, 44 players so far this season, friendly against Galatasaray held in Yorkshire and that's about 1% of the goings on.
Suggest you read the links provided by Radfordbull especially the "Save Edgar Street" one.
Be afraid, be very afraid. Get yourself organised and do it now.

Don't forget...'the club' don't own the Mem...
