Bloody hell, I just realized that 10:15 is in 5 minutes. I'm not all there this morning. Eh yeah...get your guesses in quick!
Edit: My guess is that it is a Forest Green Rovers player.

Anthony Sweeney...
I think it will be the rival conference team striker.

10.16 now, there late.
10.17, it's Jamie White !!!!
Why were Salisbury messing around saying we'd made no approach.
As first signing goes, DC has done a very good job. 1 in, 9 more to arrive.

OK, I cheated I read it on the OS. I've no idea who he is, or if he's any good, apart from reading what's on the OS its a start though

Looks positive.
Relatively young. Was at Chelsea + Southampton youth.
Not a lump it, header big striker.
Proven goalscorer at this level. Definitely knows where the goal is.
Happy with that for a start.

From his stats he certainly knows where the net is and is proven at this level. Could be an excellent signing.

Interesting that he terminated his contract at Salisbury.
Anyway, people were crying for him to come when we were in league two, so this looks like a good start. I literally know nothing about him though, so I will judge him on what he does with the gas, not what he has done in the past.

Striker becomes first summer signing Bristol Rovers are delighted to announce that Jamie White today becomes the first summer signing for the club. The striker from Salisbury City will once again link up with his former manager Darrell Clarke. The 24-year-old, who averaged a goal every other game while at Salisbury, has joined Rovers after he became a free agent after terminating his contract at Salisbury City. Darrell Clarke is delighted to bring a proven goal scorer in as his first signing for the club. He said: “I have worked with Jamie before and he is a great signing for the club. “I signed him when I was at Salisbury and he is a goalscorer who averages one goal every two games, and he has the potential to be a 20 goal a season man. “He is proven at this level and has the potential to further his career with us. I look forward to working with him. “He broke into the Southampton first team at a young age, but had a couple of injuries. He bounced back in the Non League and I signed him from Winchester. “I am looking to bring in a mix of experienced players and young and hungry guys, and I hope Jamie is the first of many signings.” Jamie joined the Southampton Academy as an eight year-old, and went on to make his first team debut in August 2008. In November 2008 he joined Shrewsbury Town on loan, and went on to score his first senior goal with the Shrews. Following injury, White joined Eastleigh on loan in October 2009. He was later released by Southampton in May 2010, and joined Eastleigh on a non contract basis in December of that year. In 2011, he signed for Queensland State League side Whitsunday Miners in Australia where he scored 9 goals in 36 games. He then returned to England to join Wessex Premier side Winchester City, where he ended up one goal short of equalling the record number of goals in the Wessex League in a season (51 goals in 32 games) as Winchester won the division. From Winchester, White joined Darrell Clarke’s Salisbury and continued his goal scoring prowess, netting 26 goals in the league in his first season. In two seasons he scored 37 goals in 73 games at Conference level. Chairman Nick Higgs said: “I am delighted to welcome Jamie to the club. Darrell has worked with him before, and was keen to bring him to Bristol Rovers. “He is a proven goal scorer at this level, and we hope he can do the same again for us. “We are all glad to get the recruitment underway, and we hope to have another new face in next week.” The deal is subject to FA approval and the player completing his medical. Sounds a good signing if he stays injury free, lets hope this summer we give our new recruits decent medical before they sign on the doted line.

Seems like the Goal Machine we've been missing for a while now. We need somebody to step up and get 20 goals next season if we have any chance of a top 5 finish.

Looks like exactly what we have been missing, more than happy with that for a start. Though it does look as if he is quite injury prone...
