Not that I believe we will be saved, but is there any date for the FA's decision about the Wycombe case?

Well it has to be soon doesn't it.
Even if Wycombe did get a points deduction I'm sure it would be next season and not the last one. Just can't see anything happening though that would affect us what with the season being only a short time away.

According to the Bucks Free Press, Wycombe believe any decision will come before the fixtures are announced. They state there is no major case to answer, but the agent is really keen to dish the dirt/more dirt.

Paul Smith has a lot more to reveal but is keeping his powder dry till the hearing, doesnt want to give Wycombe the chance to refute it

But the starting point has to be that BRFC are in this process purely for the money (in the form of some kind of compensation), not with any realistic chance of turning the clock backwards.
We will start the next season in the Conference, anything else is a diversion.

I do not understand how BRFC can hope to get any compensation fron WW. First and foremost the FA and/or FL probably do not give a **** about BRFC. And most importantly, we got relegated because our new manager could not manage to get 8 points from the last eight games, and too be honest, our players were so **** it was no surprise we got relegated. In my opinion, Nick Higgs is to blame, he is a nice bloke but unfortunately can not run a football club, relegation haunts the guy sad but true. 1st devision to the conference, with in his words "one of the best player budgets in the league" UTG

Not looking backwards. Be positive. You never know might just enjoy it :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Smith will come out with all sorts of allegations and Everything will have to be delayed again whilst said accusations are looked in to. In court the defence gets to see any evidence against them so they can defend themselves. How can Wycome defend allegations they know nothing about, if this is the case with Smith holding back.again i do t k ow what this agent is trying to acheive as it seems he will get banned for longer on the face of it

I go to matches home and away, had a season ticket for ever; the fact is we got relegated because Ward / Clarke could not manage to get enough points and the team could not score enough goals. If BRFC do not consider any lessons learned from the past, then we will IMO struggle to get out of the Conference, Just like Luton found out !

I don't think there's chance of it saving us. But a points deduction that ensures relegation for Wycombe next season would be nice.

The FA will discreetly notify all concerned parties that they have investigated the matter and no further action will be required. Bristol Rovers are now a Conference Premier team and all efforts should be directed at the coming season.

Lets just get on with being a conference team and getting out of it at the first attempt , instead of worrying what other clubs are doing . This could turn out to be a major distraction from the real business of making us a good team again.

Its not distracting to me, but i find it an interesting case which i am not sure what the agent is tyring to acheive. I am interested how Rovers might come out of this if the agent is discredited further As for the club being distracted I am sure Nick doesnt think it will be

If we're not careful this could turn out to be a similar scenario , let's accept our fate and getting on with team business instead of thinking possibly that we could still be a league club if Wycombe get points docked .

I agree the stadium was a distraction. Nick didnt think so though. Nick probably wont think this is a distraction. From a personal point of view i just have an interest in this agent and what his game is. Rovers are pawns in something. I dont see us coming out of this with much of anything, be it money or dealing with shifty agents

Just been on the Coventry City Forum, they have a court hearing this coming week to decide their future and they are not optimistic about the outcome, talking of a merger with Northampton or forming a new club AFC Coventry out of the ashes of the old one,and guess what they have their own fall guy,his name? Higgs, coincidence or what
