Collins booked for simulation and rightly so in my opinion. I like the fact they are trying to eliminate this element of the game. Believe it or not the FA introduced that rule in 2008

No complaints.. Crama has had a torrid afternoon. We are now very exposed at the back.

Whatever the final result, this has been a poor quality game against two poor teams.

A precious 3 points earned in a scrappy game with little quality.

Just got back from jittery iFollow..
Don't underestimate the value of this win. Amazing result even though scrappy and sending off.Tough opponents and never an easy place to go.
I just don't like the way simulation has been assimilated into our match, but as much as you can critique this our defence stood firm and dealt with most crosses that came their way.
Didn't see all the match but we'll done Wilson whom looked potential m o m and Cox that made a couple turn around the post saves.
Congratulations to Mangan and his team! 3 wins and 1 draw is a very useful return for caretaker....who can deny this?
The Mango Whel turns once more and gets a deserving break.....well done.

Will 113 points be enough to go up?

Will 113 points be enough to go up? Should be enough to avoid relegation!!

Goal was a bit of a fluke: cross into the box, deflection looped up over the goal-keepers head and into the net. Shots: 16 v 6. Corners: 10 v 0. Cox pulled off some good saves.
But... a win's a win, no matter how scrappy, we're up to 10th in the table, and just 4 points of the play-offs!?! :-)

Whatever the final result, this has been a poor quality game against two poor teams. So having caught up on some sleep and looking at other comments...I standby my comment it was a poor quality game. But would I put up with poor quality and a 1-0 win every week? Dead right I would.

Agree, how many times does a team play well, have 70% of the play, 15 shots on target to 2 and lose...any which-way to win is all that counts.

There was a Carlisle v Rovers game that clashed with something else. I think it was a very important England game. Could have been the one where Beckham scored the late free-kick to equalise and send England to a Finals tournament? Anyway, there was something like 252 Rovers fans who travelled north, which is a decent figure at any time and amazing in the circumstances. A combination of Google and Bristol Rovers Definitive History 1883-2003... 06/10/2001 - England 2 Greece 2 - qualified for 2002 World Cup Finals in Japan & South Korea. 06/10/2001 - Carlisle 0 Rovers 1 - total attendance just 1,849!! ... and I'm sure 252 Rovers fans amongst them. Remember this as if it happened yesterday, Beckham carried England that day, he was 'Roy of the Rovers'...Beckham played a major role in helping England qualify for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, starring in an impressive 5–1 victory over Germany in Munich. The final step in Beckham's conversion from villain to national hero happened in England's final qualifying game against Greece on 6th October 2001. England needed to win or draw the match to qualify outright for the World Cup, but were losing 2–1 with little time remaining. When Teddy Sheringham was fouled eight yards outside the Greek penalty area, England were awarded a free-kick and Beckham ensured England's qualification with a curling strike of the kind that had become his trademark. Beckham was voted the BBC Sports Personality of the Year for 2001, and finished runner-up to Luís Figo of Portugal, for the FIFA World Player of the Year award.
