This is absolutely priceless. I recall the previous occasion when you called Basel out for ignorant and racist posts and remember I was quite surprised as it was totally out of context on that particular thread and I cannot recall any of his comments being racist or even Ignorant. You went on to say that those comments were made on a different forum, which explained a lot, and is where your comments should have been. Now in confirming that you had a temporary ban for using inappropriate language you repeat the very same words again. I had forgotten that you think he makes ignorant and racist comments but you have now reminded me. And Epping supports you in your quest - but only on the other forum it seems.I have no idea what you are talking about. I have a login for Gaschat, but haven't posted there for ages. Maybe PM me if you have concerns. Me too. I think Scotsgas is a tad confused |

I'm taking Pravda to mean GasChat? (But I don't know why!?) Sorry, am thick. I think it's a disappointment anyone gets banned from any forum, save their posts inciting violence. For me, I infringement on everyone's right to freedom of speech. It's part of a larger agenda for what you can and can't say in public. Which is becoming continuingly restrictive. If wumming (again, I'm being thick, I assume the winding up people, person or forum) is an issue and folk have problems with that, there is a facility to can filter out their posts. But, they should be allowed to express themselves, and as I'm opposed censorship, I would hope the mods reflect and revoke their decision, and allow Kp the courtesy of returning if he/she so desires. For the record, I find a lot of Kp posts interesting, I like his/hers contributions.....does this mean I should be banned too? I don’t get the Pravda thing either. Some Russian nickname nonsense perhaps meaning dictatorial maybe? Can’t even be arsed to Google it, just a guess. I’m all for free speech, get your soapbox at the entrance of the Mem and bang your drum for all I care, that at least gives the opportunity to walk past and eventually be drowned out. Constantly throwing unsubstantiated rhetoric around forums, hijacking threads on other subjects and goading others isn’t free speech though is it. It’s being a dick and gaschat has always worked on a “don’t be a dick” policy. Axe will testify to that. Now when you get mod admin reports, other posters pm you and have delete or modify posts that pertain to one individual and they refuse to reign it in, then the right is reserved to remove that individual for a short period of time to allow things to normalise. Personally I don’t find any of the stuff KP has posted lately interesting because nothing has been substantiated. On both forums I asked, as well as at least 3-4 on here and 10 on the other side and no one got a coherent reply. All we had was nonsense about encrypted emails and meeting someone for a drink as long as it wasn’t me (not sure I’m missing out there). Even now he can’t stop throwing mud in my direction. I’m happy to criticise the owner, the CEO, club or the tea lady, but only when there is strong evidence to do so. How can I possibly pass any comment or judgement on anything when the only evidence is “because KP said so”. It’s a nonsense. Just now he’s even marginalised Pete Colley for his Christian faith because Pete said that KP was talking nonsense and it’s not the first time KP has taken the low blow route towards PC either. So far nothing has been mentioned about that, however I got cancelled on here because I said KPs meds were affecting what he was typing such was the ridiculousness of his opinion and argument without any evidence. Well even based on that rather disparaging and maligning remark towards Pete, it actually proves that we made the correct decision because when people don’t have the articulacy, ability or diplomacy to engage in a forthright difference of opinion and put forward sensible rebuttals to arguments they result to name calling or try to marginalise something about their appearance, personality or culture. I don’t believe there is anything about the Christian faith of any denomination which says you can’t debate with someone and expose flaws to their arguments, so why should his faith be brought into it in a negative context? But as always, KP comes on here plays the victim and tries to point fingers in every direction other than his own. Childish if you ask me. |

Personally I am an ultra, a supporter of Voltaire.
But I do recognise and accept that if I choose to join a forum then I must adhere to the rules of that forum.
This is a nightmare for the mods, I know 2 or 3 of them personally and they are all good guys.

I'm not letting it dominate my life though, the cells are shrinking, next scan is in December to see if the little b*ggers have been exterminated. I'm feeling remarkable healthy - only downside of life is that I had to say Goodbye to my gorgeous little dog last Sunday. |

To explain, and to put your overly active mind at rest, it's a phrase I've heard lots over the years meaning (and I paraphrase) "I'm not sure how old that person is but they won't see 50 again"; ie they think that person is over 50. Could be 60, could be 70. I don't know how old you are but I guess you won't see 50 again, hence my comment. And to tidy up the context, I thought it was odd that someone "who I'd think was over 50" was using lol at the end of a sentence having boasted about being banned from the forum. Seemed a little childish for someone that is old enough to know better. Jeez. |
